Ruthann Laswick

Currently the Vice President of Marketing for Black, Gould & Associates, a large general agency in Phoenix, Arizona. Ruthann also serves as the Region VII Vice President for the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Ruthann’s career in employer benefits spans 34 years working from both the consulting side of health insurance and the employers’ side. While serving as a Compensation and Benefits manager for a large international employer, she had first hand experience working with healthcare plans in several European countries. For the past year much of her time has been spent working on the current health care reform. Ruthann has written a variety of white papers on many of the detailed topics involved in the Reform movement.

Ruthann lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband Bill and son Zachary. Ruthann is a member AHIP, SHRM, IIAB, and International Foundation for Employee Benefits Plans. She’s active in her church community, her son’s school and with a variety of local charities. Ruthann also services on the Banner Community Council Board.
